Acquired from Chantry Estates, this former builder’s yard was substantially restricted by its proximity to Rail Track property and substantial drainage running beneath the site. We drafted a new economic engineering strategy to gain acceptance from Rail Track and successfully negotiated a restructuring of the drainage with Thames Water. Whilst the scheme wasn’t 100% compliant with housing association funding criteria, we made sufficient economical changes to obtain grant funding.
